When speaking about young children, Jesus said,
"Such was the Kingdom of God." Obviously,
there is a special place in His heart for these
precious souls. On behalf of all of those who
work in the Nursery as well as our entire
congregation, we are thrilled to minister to your
family in this way. If there is anything we can do
to make you and your baby more comfortable, please
let us know!

Dropping Off Your Baby for the First Time |
The
first time your leave your baby with the Nursery Team you will be asked
to fill out a simple form. the information card will ask for your baby's
name, as well as your name and address. Also, there is a space provided
for any special care or instructions that need to be given to our
Nursery Workers about your baby. You will also be given a label
that should be placed on your baby's upper back. A second label
should be placed on your nursery bag. These labels are numbered to
coordinate with your baby, your nursery bag, and a pager that you will
be given. Please write the baby's name on both labels. Much of this
information will be kept from week to week, so the check-in process will
be easier after the first time.
Because the well-being of your child
is a priority to us, you will receive a pager when you leave your child
in our Nursery. We do all we can to keep these precious little
ones happy, but sometimes they have a different idea! Pagers
should be set to the "Vibration" setting. If you are needed, a Nursery
Worker will page you, and your pager will vibrate. At that time, you
should report to the Nursery. Of course, "no news is good news!"
We hope that this private method of contacting you will allow you to
feel more comfortable concerning the well-being of your child.
-Please use the One-Year Old Class door
to drop off and pick up your baby.
-If possible, please only have one adult to pick up your child.
-We ask that all parents keep their other children out of the nursery
area at all times.
-It would be helpful if you could label any bottles, toys, or other
items you bring to the Nursery with your child's name.
The nursery is located in the Main
Building.
From the Sanctuary...
Go through the door to the right of the pulpit/stage
area (near the organ) and straight across the hallway.
From the Double Glass Doors...
Take a left. The nursery is the third door on the
right.
Glass Door Coming From the Archway...
Continue straight down the hallway. Follow it as it
makes a quick left then a quick right. The nursery is the third door on
the right.
